[edit] Vandalism

Okay, vandalism is coming a much bigger problem on the LibertyWiki now, as it seems I am forced to check out some pages nearly every morning due to some vandalism. It usually involves either vulgar words, racist insults or just mucking about with Wiki tags. We can either block it so that only registered users can edit the wiki, which would hopefully discourage the vandalising, or we will need more people on vandalising patrol. I'm open to discussion, and I'd like to here everyone's ideas on this. Even the spammers and vandals are free to contribute to this conversation.

As the site is increasing in popularity, and the content and pages are raising in the Search Engine results, our wiki is more prone to vandalism. On the 14th February, 2005, we had a single user edit and vandalise several pages, spreading links to his website, and using foul language. He has been blocked for 96 hours. If you spot any vandalising, please comment on their user talk pages for their IP address (or their Usernames, if they logged in) and I will see whether they should be blocked. Thankyou very much!

[edit] Categorising

Currently, we're going through the long process of categorising the content in the system. Well, its not that long since there aren't too many articles, but we're doing it anyway, and we could do with your help. Not only do we need people who can tag articles under the categories we have already decided on, we need people to make introductions to these categories and ensure they're all following sensible naming rules. This is our current category setup: (It is somewhat short list so far, but we only have a short list of articles and topics as such - this list will increase as time goes by)

We need as much help as we can with editing and finishing off pages which have yet to be finished. There are Dead end pages which we would like contributions to. If you could find the time and information about any of these subjects, much would be appreciated.
