Discworld 2: Missing Presumed ...!? (aka
Mortality Bytes!) is the second computer game based on
Terry Pratchett's fantasy novel series,
Discworld, developed by
Perfect Entertainment and released by
Psygnosis. The game revolves around
Rincewind, a recurring character in the books, who must investigate
Death's myserious disappearance. The plot is loosely based around several of the books, including
Reaper Man,
Lords and Ladies,
Moving Pictures,
Pyramids and often refers to other novels. Like the previous game,
Discworld, the character of Rincewind is voiced by
Eric Idle, famous for his role in
Monty Python. He also sings the memorable title song for the game,
That's Death.
