Dxun

Dxun is the major moon of four orbitting the planet of Onderon. It has a strong jungle climate, with thick foliage and dangerous animals. At one point in time, the orbitting path of Dxun came so close to Onderon, that it allowed many of the dangerous animals to easily cross the gap, which caused many serious ecological problems on the planet.
It is said that the Mandalorian War began on the moon of Dxun, where the former leader of the Mandalorians, Mandalore the Ultimate, had been killed at the end of the Great Sith War. During the times of Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords, a new leader took the name of Mandalore, and aspired to return the remaining Mandalorians, most of whom had become mercenaries in order to survive in the galaxy. This new clan allied with a Jedi Exile to help destroy the battle crusier, the Ravager, which had been resurrected from the destroyed world of Malachor V, by Darth Nihilus.
Several millenia later, the Sith Lord Darth Bane, fleeing the Battle of Ruusan, crash-landed on Dxun. It was here where formally decided on his plans for a reborn Sith Order. Dxun houses the tomb of Dark Lord of the Sith Freedon Nadd, who had conquered and ruled Onderon before his death, and many other Onderonian leaders.
