  • 18th Jun, 2007 - Long period of no updates, but we've now tried to reduce some of the spam on the wiki, and also installed a CAPTCHA system to prevent bots getting access as much as possible.

  • 31st Aug, 2005 - After a large vandal attack by bots, LibertyWiki has now been forced to require new users to login before they can edit any page. If you have any problems, please discuss this on the Current Events discussion page. Additionally, we have now upgraded the wiki to Version 1.4.9 to fix security holes.
  • 1st Aug, 2005 - In order to protect LibertyWiki against vandalism, we are considering forcing users to log in (they'll have to register a free account) in order to make any changes. Please share your views!
  • 25th Apr, 2005 - The Wiki has been upgraded to version 1.4.2, and on top of that, the Main Page has now reached 3000 views, and in total, we've had 44282 views and 1373 page edits - good work everybody!
  • 31st Mar, 2005 - Vandals and spammers are becoming a bigger problem, and we really need to sort out a plan of action for this behaviour. See the Current events page for a list of possible solutions.
  • 21st Mar, 2005 - We've upgraded to version 1.40, which fixes a lot of minor bugs. Were also on 98 articles, so its not long until we break the 100 barrier!
  • 24th Feb, 2005 - We've upgraded the software to Version 1.4rc1, which should hopefully fix some of the experienced problems.
  • 13th Feb, 2005 - Main Page has been viewed 1000 times!
  • 5th Feb, 2005 - We've made 50 pages! Well done everybody!
  • 29th Jan, 2005 - Upgraded to latest MediaWiki beta release (Version 1.4beta5) to add new needed features.
  • 26th Jan, 2005 - We want to reach a grand total of 50 pages by 1st February - come and help us and contribute!
  • 8th Jan, 2005 - Upgraded to MediaWiki 1.3.9 to fix server vulnerability in upload script.
  • 5th Jan, 2005 - Some of the content was rolled back during the Holidays, and some may have disappeared. If you notice anything missing, please could you add it, or contact us about it. Thanks!
