Obsidian Entertainment is a video games developer who produce for both PC and console markets. The company, set in Santa Ana, California, is relatively new, but has high expectations as most of its key members are previous employees of Black Isle Studios which created a number of notable games, including Baldur's Gate. The company's first game was Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II, the sequel to BioWare's game of the same name. It was released on the Xbox in late 2004, and on the PC in February, 2005. Currently, they are working on the sequel to BioWare's Neverwinter Nights game.
