Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds
From LibertyWiki
Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds is a real-time strategy game, built on the Age of Kings engine, which features the armies of the Star Wars universe: Galactic Empire, Rebel Alliance, Wookiees, Gungans, Royal Naboo and Trade Federation. The game draws much of its gameplay from the Age of Empires series, but remixed to the Star Wars universe, which involves flying spaceships, and the new armies. The game was released in 2001, two years after the release of Age of Empires 2, which makes the engine somewhat dated. The game features six campaigns and a tutorial Wookie campaign, led by Qui-Gon Jinn.[edit] Clone Campaigns
Shortly after the release of Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones, LucasArts released an expansion to the game, titled Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds: Clone Campaigns which features new content from the new movie, plus several new features added to the game. It brought two new civilisations: the Confederacy of Independent Systems, and the Old Republic, each of which featured a six-part campaign.
